   A message from our President 

 

 

Dear Members and Prospective Members: 

 

I'm looking forward to being President for the upcoming year and would like to thank all the club officers.   

I've been a member of SFBP for several years after having moved away and returned again two years ago.  We have numerous members that have been part of the club for many years, as well as a nice mix of newcomers and ages.  We are always excited about new members joining and creating many more enjoyable memories.  I believe this fishing club has the best camaraderie, cook-outs and end-of-year weekend getaway that South Florida has to offer. 

On tournament day when we arrive on the water, we are serious about fishing and the competition is strong, but at the end of the day we are just a bunch of guys who love to get together to fish and tell our stories.   For those of us who lose our heads from time to time, we have a prestigious award called the Mullet Hat which we vote on after each tournament to determine who did the silliest thing that warrants recognition.
